Also, if you choose to interact with a Seller, we may provide information regarding you current location to your selected Seller. If you are a Seller, when you register to use Birdy’s Closet, we require you to give us contact information (such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number and the physical address(es) of the place(s) of business that you are registering for use with Birdy’s Closet), and other commercially relevant information. Also, Birdy’s Closet, or a designated third-party payment service may require your email address or financial information
We may require additional information for specific promotions or contests running on our site.
We use the contact information we collect to connect you with your selected Sellers, and to send you, if you so choose, information about our company, newsletters, promotional materials, and information from our Institutions. We use the information Sellers provide to let Buyers know important facts about the Seller, such as what products you have available and if there are other supplementary terms and conditions placed on the sale of those products.
We may also use the information we collect, in combination with outside records, to notify you about important changes to the website, new Birdy’s Closet services and products, and special offers and information we think you'll find valuable.
We may send you information in conjunction with third-party partners that we think is relevant to your interests.
We use information gathered when you elect to interact with a Seller to enable the Seller to process your interaction, to enable the Seller to timely interact with your interaction, to notify you of your interaction status, and to enable Sellers to understand various metrics regarding the effectiveness of their responses. A Seller customer care representative or a representative of a third party contractor may contact you in order to interact with you or to provide information you requested.
We may collect certain non-personally identifiable information about you when you visit our site, such as the type of web browser you are using (e.g., Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari), the type of PC operating system you are using (e.g. Apple OS X, Microsoft Windows, Ubuntu), the type of mobile operating system you are using (e.g. Android, iOS), the referring site from which you came (e.g., a partner site), and the domain name of your internet service provider (e.g., Comcast, Earthlink, Spectrum).
We use the non-personally identifiable information that we collect in the aggregate to improve the design and content of our site and mobile apps. We also use this information to analyze site and mobile app usage.

To help you identify when you are on the Birdy’s Closet website or using a Birdy’s Closet-branded mobile app, we place our logo in the upper left corner to indicate that you are interacting with Birdy’s Closet.
You authorize Birdy’s Closet to collect and share with our payments provider Dwolla, Inc. your personal information including email address and financial information, and you are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that data. Birdy’s Closet may be obligated to disclose personally identifiable information to law enforcement or agencies, even though such agencies may not comply with the terms of our privacy policy. Birdy’s Closet will disclose information to such agencies in response to legal process or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, for example, in response to a court order, subpoena, or a law enforcement agency's request.
Finally, Birdy’s Closet may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related website and mobile app information to Merchant/Service Providers, partners, or to the press. Aggregate statistics contain only non-personally identifiable information.

Birdy’s Closet’s website uses cookies, a technology that stores small pieces of information on your hard drive, to personalize content and keep track of your interactions during your visit. Each time your browser visits a website, the site sends all cookies relevant to that website; cookies are used to maintain a session between you and the web server.
The personally identifiable information you provide and we collect is stored within databases that we control directly or through our Service Providers. You will create a user ID and a password when you register. Your user ID and password may only be used by you and: a) The members of your household if you are a Seller; and/or, b) Your authorized agents if you are an Institution. You are solely responsible for maintaining and protecting the confidentiality of your user ID and password, and are solely and fully responsible for all activities on the Website undertaken by those using your user ID and password.
Birdy’s Closet may send communications, promotional information, and/or newsletters to our registrants. You can choose to not receive communications from us. To review and update the personally identifiable and other account information that we collect and maintain about you, including options for communications, news, and special offers, either: 1) Log-in to the Birdy’s Closet website and visit your “User Information” webpage where you can update certain information (such as your user ID and password) and unsubscribe from receiving specific types of email messages and telephone calls. You cannot, however, unsubscribe from receiving certain emails, such as account status and billing related emails; or, 2) Via our mobile app, select “Settings” and “About” where you will find a link directing you to the “User Information” webpage in your mobile browser.
